Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting students and staff in a dynamic school setting near Huntingtown, MD. This role is based in Prince Frederick, providing dedicated behavioral services across a 35 hour work week with a diverse caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Demonstrated experience developing and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans in educational environments
- Strong skills in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and implementing data-driven strategies
- Collaborative mindset for working closely with teachers, support staff, and families
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans for assigned students
- Conduct assessments to identify behavioral needs and inform targeted interventions
- Train and consult with educators and paraprofessionals on best practices for behavioral support
- Track student progress, analyze data, and adjust plans as needed for optimal outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide clear communication regarding student progress
