Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong knowledge of behavior intervention planning and data-driven practices
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to model interventions and provide ongoing staff training
- Analyze behavioral data and make recommendations for adjustment as needed
- Support students in achieving educational and social-emotional goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state requirements
