Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing comprehensive behavioral support in a dynamic, collaborative school setting. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is tailored for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) eager to work alongside a passionate RBT/Behavioral team and diverse student populations across one school location.
As a vital member of the special education department, youll conduct detailed assessments and evaluations for students facing behavior-related challenges, supporting the development and implementation of IEP plans. You'll be instrumental in supervising and mentoring the behavioral team while assisting with district-wide behavioral strategies. Your expertise will help ensure the academic and personal growth of students, as well as the professional development of staff, throughout the 2026-2027 school year.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current BCBA License to practice in California
- PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) Credential required
- Previous experience supporting IEP teams and working with diverse student populations strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of behavioral assessment and intervention
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor staff
- Passion for supporting positive student outcomes and building capacity within educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support, guidance, and supervision to RBTs and other behavioral staff
- Perform in-depth behavioral assessments and develop targeted intervention plans
- Collaborate with the SPED team and support IEP development and review processes
- Mentor and train district staff on best practices in behavioral support
- Monitor progress, collect data, and adjust strategies for student success
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for all students and staff
