You'll play a crucial role in supporting elementary students in grades 1-4 who have mild to moderate disabilities. This position also includes the opportunity to supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), helping you further develop mentorship and leadership skills.
Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification
- Experience working in school settings, ideally with elementary-aged children
- Knowledge of and experience with students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Preference for candidates with previous supervisory or mentorship experience
Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral assessments and develop intervention plans for students in grades 1-4
- Work part-time (25 hours/week) as part of an elementary caseload
- Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to implement behavioral strategies
- May supervise and mentor RBTs in intervention delivery
- Maintain detailed records and communicate student progress effectively
