Step into a dynamic part-time opportunity as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting elementary students in a welcoming school environment. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference for students in grades 1-4 with mild to moderate disabilities.
Your expertise will guide effective Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming and behavioral interventions, ensuring that students receive individualized support tailored to their unique learning needs. The caseload focuses on elementary students, and you may be called upon to provide supervision for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) as well.
Qualifications or Desired Experience:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience working within school settings, especially at the elementary level
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and positive behavior support strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Prior experience overseeing or supervising RBTs preferred
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess students needs and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
- Provide direct and consultative ABA services for students in grades 1-4
- Collect and analyze data to adapt and improve intervention strategies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop IEP goals and recommendations
- Supervise and mentor RBTs as assigned, ensuring effective delivery of services
- Support teachers, staff, and families in implementing behavioral interventions
