Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current BCBA certification in good standing
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field
- Previous experience working in educational settings, preferably K-12
- Strong knowledge of functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plan (BIP) development
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to train and coach school staff on behavioral strategies
- Collaborative mindset to work with teachers, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments for students identified with behavioral challenges
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Provide data-driven recommendations for instructional and behavioral support
- Collaborate with educators, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to implement interventions
- Train and support staff in applying behavior analytic principles in the classroom
- Collect data and document student progress, adapting strategies as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for student programming
