Qualifications and Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Previous experience providing behavior analytic services within a school environment strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Proven ability to assess students and develop effective behavior intervention plans
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educational staff, families, and students
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and functional behavior analyses for students with diverse needs
- Design and implement data-driven, individualized behavior intervention plans
- Provide ongoing training and support for teachers and staff regarding ABA strategies and best practices
- Monitor student progress, analyze data, and adjust interventions to optimize outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contributing observations and recommendations during IEP meetings
- Engage regularly with families to foster consistency and reinforce behavior support plans
