Qualifications and Credentials:
- Current BCBA certification and valid licensure in Connecticut
- Graduate degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
- Experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop targeted behavior intervention plans
- Provide direct support, consultation, and training for teachers and staff
- Monitor student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and make data-driven adjustments to interventions
- Support students individually or in small groups, adapting strategies to meet unique needs
- Foster positive, goal-oriented relationships with students, families, and staff
- Help ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical guidelines
