Job Description

Located in Hartford, CT, this full-time contract position offers the opportunity to apply your skills as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in an educational setting serving K-8 students. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the current school year (CSY).

As the BCBA, you will work directly within a school environment, collaborating with educators and support staff to develop and implement behavior intervention plans tailored to the needs of students. Your expertise will help create positive behavioral outcomes and support inclusive learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Provide training and consultation to school personnel on evidence-based behavioral strategies
  • Collect and analyze data to drive decision-making and ensure treatment fidelity

Qualifications:

  • Current Connecticut BCBA license required
  • Experience working within K-8 school settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and their application in educational environments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
