Job Description
A full-time opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide essential behavioral support within a school setting located in Gilroy, CA. This role involves direct collaboration with the Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and the behavioral team, delivering comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students facing behavior-related challenges. The position supports diverse student populations and plays a critical role in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) alongside the Special Education (SPED) team. Supervision and guidance for district staff are also key components of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and evaluations for students with behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with RBTs and behavioral team members to implement effective intervention strategies.
- Support the development, monitoring, and adjustment of IEPs in coordination with the SPED team.
- Provide supervision and training for behavioral staff to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Engage with diverse student populations to promote positive behavioral outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) license valid in California.
- Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential.
- Experience working in school environments and with special education teams is preferred.
Location and Schedule:
- Onsite position in Gilroy, California.
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week for the 2026-2027 full school year.
