Job Description

This contract-based opportunity offers a hybrid setup with a minimum of three days onsite, supporting multiple classrooms in an engaging, dynamic school environment near Danville, IL. Your expertise in behavior management will be valued as you collaborate with educators and rotate through classrooms each quarter, helping both staff and students thrive.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold an active BCBA certification
  • Previous experience supporting PreK and K students, particularly in a school or educational setting
  • Strong background in behavior analysis and intervention planning
  • Effective communication and coaching skills for working with teachers and support staff
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and needs; openness to a flexible, hybrid schedule
  • Capability to complete in-person behavioral observations as required
  • Must complete an in-person background check (processing time varies between 2 and 6 weeks)

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct behavior support and consultation in PreK and K classrooms
  • Observe students and classroom environments to assess and address behavioral needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor positive behavior intervention plans
  • Coach teachers and paraprofessionals on best practices in behavior management
  • Rotate classrooms each quarter to deliver comprehensive support across multiple settings
  • Maintain strong collaborative relationships with school staff and administration
