Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Previous experience providing ABA services within a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of evidence-based behavioral interventions and data-driven practices
- Ability to develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, positive school cultures
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop targeted intervention strategies for students
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans, collecting and analyzing relevant data
- Train and mentor school staff in behavior intervention techniques and best practices
- Collaborate with IEP teams to create behavior goals and progress monitoring systems
- Provide ongoing consultation and support to teachers, administrators, and families
- Adapt approaches to meet diverse student needs and changing classroom dynamics
