Step into a pivotal role providing behavioral support and expertise in a school-based environment as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity offers hands-on engagement with students, staff, and families, directly impacting educational outcomes and student well-being. The term runs August through late May, aligning with the traditional school calendar.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and current BCBA certification required
  • Proven experience as a BCBA, preferably working within school settings
  • In-depth knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and best practices
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with multidisciplinary teams, students, and family members
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor effective behavioral intervention plans
  • Commitment to fostering positive behavior in diverse student populations
  • Comfortable conducting virtual interviews via Zoom

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee individualized behavioral interventions for students in collaboration with educational staff
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and utilize data-driven decision-making to modify intervention plans as needed
  • Train, coach, and support school personnel to ensure the effective implementation of behavioral supports
  • Maintain detailed documentation on student progress and report on outcomes
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, and administrators, ensuring cohesive and consistent behavioral strategies across the campus
  • Stay informed of current methodologies, following ethical standards and applicable laws
