Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Experience working with school-aged children and adolescents preferred
  • Strong knowledge in ABA principles, data collection, and analysis
  • Familiarity with developing Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to train and support school staff as needed
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and ethical guidelines

Responsibilities:

  • Assess student needs and design data-driven, individualized behavior plans
  • Conduct classroom and one-on-one observations to monitor intervention effectiveness
  • Provide ongoing consultation to teachers, staff, and families
  • Train staff on ABA strategies, data collection, and crisis intervention when applicable
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school and legal requirements
  • Serve as a resource for the student support team, contributing to IEP meetings and progress updates
  • Adjust interventions as needed to ensure positive educational and behavioral outcomes
