Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Board Certification as a BCBA
  • Experience working in educational or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles, data collection, and behavior intervention plan development
  • Effective communicator able to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
  • Adaptable and organized in a dynamic school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop comprehensive behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to implement and monitor individualized behavioral programs
  • Provide direct and consultative support in classrooms, ensuring strategies are effective and sustainable
  • Train and coach educators and paraprofessionals in behavior management
  • Collect and interpret behavioral data to inform decision-making and track student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal-setting, and document services as required by special education regulations
