The position offers flexibility, with opportunities for both full-time and part-time or per diem schedules to best fit your availability. The role spans various school locations in the Hartford, Stratford, Westport, and Fairfield County areas, serving caseloads that may range from 15 to 35 students.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Active BCBA certification required
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of behavioral assessment, intervention, and data collection
  • Skilled at developing and implementing effective behavior intervention plans
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to support and train staff in behavioral methodologies
  • Experience with K-12 students managing ED, ASD, ADHD, ODD, LD, and related needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized intervention strategies
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
  • Provide ongoing training and consultation for school staff
  • Monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed
  • Serve as a resource on behavioral best practices within the educational environment
