Take on a rewarding opportunity as a School-Based Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a year-round educational setting near Ellicott City, MD. This full-time contract position offers the chance to work closely with a supportive school community, making a real impact for students of all ages across three dedicated classrooms. Collaborate with educators and families to deliver meaningful behavioral interventions and support to a caseload of 18 students.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Maryland BCBA credential required
- Prior experience in a school or educational setting strongly preferred
- Expertise in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse students, teachers, and families
- Commitment to ethical, student-centered practice
Role Highlights & Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral assessments and individualized support for students across all age groups
- Develop, monitor, and adjust data-driven behavior intervention plans
- Offer staff training in positive behavioral supports and best practices
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team to foster student inclusion and positive school culture
- Work on a MondayFriday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week during a year-round school calendar
