Make a meaningful impact working with students at a specialized school for the blind as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) near Ellicott City, MD. Key Qualifications:

• Active BCBA certification with Maryland licensure
• Experience or strong interest in working with students with visual impairments, or a willingness to learn
• Skilled in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing data-driven intervention plans
• Effective communicator who collaborates well with teaching staff, families, and support teams
• Able to manage time across a diverse school caseload

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess student needs and create individualized behavioral support programs
• Collaborate with educators and families to ensure effective behavioral interventions
• Utilize research-based methodologies to support positive behaviors and skill acquisition
• Maintain accurate data collection and progress reports
• Provide staff training on behavioral strategies and interventions aligned with student goals
• Monitor, review, and adjust plans to facilitate student growth and independence
