Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity to support young learners as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a contract position close to Edison and Matawan, NJ. In this part-time role, youll work 25 hours per week with elementary students in grades 1 through 4, focusing on mild to moderate disabilities. The position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact while maintaining work-life balance, and may also include supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current BCBA certification is required
  • Experience supporting school-aged children, ideally within an elementary setting
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing behavioral intervention plans for students with mild to moderate disabilities
  • Knowledge of best practices for data collection and analysis to monitor student progress
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to supervise and mentor RBTs as needed

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and create individualized intervention plans
  • Work directly with students in grades 1-4, fostering positive behavioral and social-emotional development
  • Collaborate with teachers, aides, and parents to ensure consistency and fidelity in behavior strategies
  • Train and provide oversight to RBTs working with students on your caseload
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data to inform ongoing support and adjustments to interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress updates
