This full-time, onsite position offers the opportunity to work with K-12 students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in Edison, NJ. The role involves applying behavior analysis principles to support student development within a school setting. Candidates must hold a valid New Jersey BCBA license and certification, along with a Masters degree.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans tailored to individual students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to implement and monitor behavioral programs
- Collect and analyze data to measure progress and adjust strategies accordingly
- Provide training and support for school personnel on behavior management techniques
- Maintain clear documentation and ensure compliance with state regulations and ethical standards
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in behavior analysis or related field
- Valid NJ BCBA license and certification required
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively in a school environment
- Ability to assess, design, and implement evidence-based behavioral interventions
