Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA)
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field
- Experience providing behavioral assessments and intervention plans within educational settings preferred
- Strong understanding of functional behavior assessments (FBA) and behavior intervention plans (BIP)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with diverse student populations, including those with developmental and learning differences
- Dedication to professional ethics and district compliance guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral assessments, analyze data, and develop individualized support plans for students
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to deliver training and guidance on behavioral interventions
- Monitor student progress, update intervention plans, and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, ensuring interventions align with student goals and legal requirements
- Offer ongoing consultation and coaching to staff to reinforce positive behavioral supports throughout the school
- Stay informed on current ABA techniques and practices to deliver the highest quality of care
