Youll collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to assess student needs and guide the implementation of effective behavior intervention plans. Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
- Prior school-based experience is highly desirable
- In-depth understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex ideas to colleagues and caregivers
- Up-to-date knowledge of legal and ethical practices in behavioral analysis within educational settings
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough behavioral assessments and functional analyses for students with diverse needs
- Develop and oversee behavior intervention plans, providing detailed data collection and progress monitoring
- Train school staff and families in effective strategies for implementation of behavior plans
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expert insights to student support teams
- Offer ongoing consultation, coaching, and modeling for teachers and paraprofessionals
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all relevant rules and best practices
