Exciting opportunity for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to provide meaningful support to students with severe disabilities and autism, ranging in age from 2 to 22. This onsite, full-time contract role offers the chance to collaborate within a dedicated educational team committed to positive student outcomes.
Professional Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensure/certification in Delaware is required
- Experience in school-based settings, particularly working with students with severe disabilities and autism
- Demonstrated expertise in de-escalation techniques and crisis team participation
- Proficiency in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
- Comfortable supporting behavior goal development for IEP teams and working collaboratively with staff
- Ability to support consistent data collection and provide hands-on behavioral support in a dynamic school environment
- Must be able to work onsite for the duration of the contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as an integral part of the crisis response team, utilizing de-escalation strategies
- Perform comprehensive FBAs to inform individualized student interventions
- Develop evidence-based BSPs tailored to the needs of diverse learners
- Support IEP development by collaborating on attainable, measurable behavior goals
- Train and assist school staff in implementing behavioral strategies and collecting data
- Ensure ongoing communication with all members of the educational and support staff
This full-time position spans the academic year (August 19, 2026 to June 11, 2027), Monday through Friday, with a 37.5-hour weekly schedule. Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams, providing a convenient introduction to the school community.
