This full-time, contract opportunity offers you a dynamic role on-site for the upcoming 26/27 school year. You'll lend your expertise to both students and staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Delaware BCBA licensure/certification (confirmation required with submission)
- Previous experience in school-based BCBA roles preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with crisis management and de-escalation techniques
- Experience conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
- Strong collaboration skills for work on IEP teams and staff training
- Commitment to on-site support throughout the full school year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral support and intervention for students with complex needs
- Participate as a valued member of the crisis intervention team
- Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and design effective, individualized BSPs
- Collaborate to set and review IEP behavior goals
- Oversee and support accurate behavioral data collection
- Guide, mentor, and train school staff to ensure best practices in behavioral support
