An exciting contract opportunity is now available for a skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) eager to make a meaningful difference in a school community. This part-time position offers the chance to work two days per week within a supportive educational setting, providing critical behavioral consultation to both elementary and middle school students.
The caseload consists of around 29 students, including approximately 22 elementary (Grades 25) and seven middle school learners. The primary focus will be on delivering expert consultation, guiding behavioral interventions, and updating individualized behavior plans. The current classroom environments are stable, yet benefit greatly from additional consultation and support.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid BCBA certification
- Previous experience in public schools preferred (not required)
- Proven success supporting students with diverse behavioral needs
- Expertise in developing and implementing effective behavior intervention strategies
- Strong skills collaborating and communicating with teachers, staff, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Creative, empathetic, and team-oriented approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing behavioral consultation for staff and students
- Update and assist with the implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Support classroom teams with tailored behavioral strategies
- Collaborate with special education staff and school administration to promote student growth
