This part-time, contract-based role plays a key part in fostering positive behavioral supports and strategies for adolescent learners. Skills & Qualifications:

• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential
• Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) for school-based BCBA practice
• Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
• Strong ability to create, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
• Collaborative mindset and effective communication with school staff, students, and families
• Commitment to promoting positive, inclusive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments for high school students and interpret results
• Develop and implement tailored behavior intervention strategies based on assessment findings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams for student success
• Provide training and support to school staff on behavioral interventions and data collection
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust interventions as needed
• Contribute expertise in behavior analysis to IEP meetings and student planning

This role takes place onsite at a local high school, working closely with dedicated professionals passionate about student development. Youll have the opportunity to make a difference while enjoying a part-time schedule within a supportive and inclusive district. Onboarding processes, including any required fingerprinting and training, will be outlined as part of your placement.
