Job Description

Youll serve a high school in the vibrant Des Plaines, IL area, contributing your expertise one to two days per week during the 2024-2025 school year.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with the appropriate endorsement
  • Experience supporting high school-aged youth in educational or clinical settings
  • Excellent communication and consultative skills
  • Ability to work onsite and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct behavioral assessments and develop function-based intervention plans
  • Provide ongoing consultation to school staff and stakeholders
  • Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies as needed
  • Offer training and support to school staff on behavior management approaches
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals and related staff
  • Maintain compliance with state, district, and professional standards
