A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is needed for a full-time contract position serving a K-12 school environment in the Baton Rouge area. This role involves working closely with students to assess behavior, develop intervention plans, and provide ongoing support to improve social, behavioral, and academic outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid BCBA certification
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong skills in behavior assessment, data analysis, and developing individualized intervention plans
Position Details:
- Location: Baton Rouge area
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Contract duration: School year (NSY)
- Setting: K-12 school environment focusing on behavioral supports
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to implement and monitor interventions
- Provide training and support to ensure consistency across all educational settings
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and educational regulations related to behavioral services
