Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Experience working within school settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and students
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans
  • Comfortable providing staff training and support
  • Organized and adaptable in a dynamic educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough behavioral assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistency in approach
  • Provide training and consultation for school personnel on behavioral strategies and best practices
  • Analyze data and adjust interventions as needed to best support student growth
  • Maintain accurate documentation and report student progress regularly
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as a behavioral expert
