Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience working within school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and students
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans
- Comfortable providing staff training and support
- Organized and adaptable in a dynamic educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough behavioral assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistency in approach
- Provide training and consultation for school personnel on behavioral strategies and best practices
- Analyze data and adjust interventions as needed to best support student growth
- Maintain accurate documentation and report student progress regularly
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as a behavioral expert
