A fulfilling contract opportunity awaits a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) eager to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting. This role focuses on supporting an individual student, aged 8 or 9, within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Your expertise in behavior analysis and mental health will play a key role in guiding student progress and enhancing the learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Previous experience working in schools or with children preferred
- Strong background in behavior management and mental health support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of educators and support staff
- Commitment to professional standards and ethical guidelines
Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavior assessments and develop targeted intervention plans for one student
- Provide ongoing support and data-driven recommendations to both the educational team and the student
- Monitor, track, and evaluate behavioral progress, making adjustments as needed
- Offer training, consultation, and guidance to teachers and staff regarding implementation of interventions
- Collaborate with families and stakeholders to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain thorough documentation in line with compliance requirements
