Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing behavior intervention plans in school settings
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and data collection methods
  • Exceptional communication and consultation abilities with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to assess challenging behaviors and develop effective, individualized strategies
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing student needs and school schedules

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop, oversee, and evaluate customized behavior intervention programs for K-12 students
  • Train, support, and consult with school faculty and staff to ensure consistent implementation of interventions
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and utilize findings to guide interventions
  • Monitor and analyze student progress, making data-driven adjustments to enhance outcomes
  • Document and report on interventions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Provide parent consultation and training sessions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with special education teams
