Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing behavior intervention plans in school settings
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and data collection methods
- Exceptional communication and consultation abilities with staff, students, and families
- Ability to assess challenging behaviors and develop effective, individualized strategies
- Flexibility to adapt to changing student needs and school schedules
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop, oversee, and evaluate customized behavior intervention programs for K-12 students
- Train, support, and consult with school faculty and staff to ensure consistent implementation of interventions
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and utilize findings to guide interventions
- Monitor and analyze student progress, making data-driven adjustments to enhance outcomes
- Document and report on interventions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Provide parent consultation and training sessions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with special education teams
