Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in educational settings by supporting K-12 students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in a contract role based near Danbury, CT. This position involves working closely with a dedicated team of around five other BCBAs, collaborating to develop and implement behavior intervention plans and supervising 1:1 Registered Behavior Technicians within a district-wide model. The weekly commitment is 32.5 hours across a standard five-day school week, ensuring balanced support for both students and staff.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Possess valid Connecticut BCBA certification and LBA credential
  • Proven experience working in school settings or supporting K-12 student populations
  • Strong collaborative approach, able to function effectively within a professional team
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to supervise RBTs and contribute to effective training and support

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor functional behavior assessments and intervention plans for a diverse K-12 student population
  • Collaborate with a team of BCBAs to ensure coordinated, comprehensive behavioral supports across the district
  • Provide ongoing supervision, coaching, and feedback to 1:1 RBTs and other support staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings, IEPs, and consultations as required
  • Foster productive relationships with educators, families, and outside providers to enhance student outcomes
