Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA certification required
  • Previous experience working in schools or with children/adolescents preferred
  • Strong understanding of behavioral assessment tools and intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to ethical standards and best practices in behavior analysis

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and other team members to support student success
  • Train and coach school staff and families on implementing evidence-based strategies
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as needed based on data collection
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing input and guidance from a behavioral perspective
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school district policies and applicable laws
