Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Previous experience working in schools or with children/adolescents preferred
- Strong understanding of behavioral assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to ethical standards and best practices in behavior analysis
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and other team members to support student success
- Train and coach school staff and families on implementing evidence-based strategies
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as needed based on data collection
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing input and guidance from a behavioral perspective
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school district policies and applicable laws
