Job Description
An opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students in a school setting located in Joliet, IL. This position involves providing expert behavioral services under a cooperative programming model, focusing on Early Childhood through 8th grade students during the 26/27 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to implement effective strategies that enhance students learning and development.
- Provide ongoing supervision and training for Registered Behavior Technicians and other related service providers.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning efforts.
Qualifications:
- Current Illinois BCBA certification is required.
- Experience working with an Early Childhood to middle school caseload preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload within a cooperative programming framework.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators and families.
Position Details:
- Location: Joliet, IL (close to Crest Hill)
- Contract position
- 35 hours per week
