Job Description
Make a positive difference in student learning by applying your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a school-based contract position. Working in an educational setting, you will collaborate with educators and support teams to develop and implement effective behavioral strategies, ensuring an inclusive, supportive environment for students.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification in good standing
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong foundation in functional behavior assessment and intervention planning
- Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to ethical practices and evidence-based methodologies
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and gather data to create individualized behavior intervention plans
- Train and support staff in implementing positive behavior supports and interventions
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and develop goals that align with student success
- Monitor progress, document results, and adjust strategies as needed for optimal outcomes
- Advocate for student access to appropriate behavioral services within the educational setting
