Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active BCBA certification (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) required
- Previous experience working in educational or school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Skill in conducting functional behavior assessments and analyzing data
- Dedication to fostering student independence, skill development, and positive outcomes
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and gather data to inform intervention planning
- Design and supervise the implementation of individualized behavior intervention strategies
- Provide ongoing guidance and training to teachers, support staff, and families on ABA best practices
- Collaborate with the educational team on Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and behavioral components
- Regularly monitor student progress and adjust plans to maximize effectiveness
- Prepare thorough documentation and progress reports
- Support a safe, inclusive learning environment focused on student achievement and emotional well-being
