Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting preferred
- Strong understanding of behavioral assessment and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Ability to develop and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational abilities and documentation proficiency
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) for students identified by school staff
- Develop, monitor, and adjust behavioral intervention plans to address student needs
- Work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to implement and review interventions
- Provide training, consultation, and direct support to staff on behavioral strategies and best practices
- Collect and analyze data to measure intervention effectiveness and adjust as needed
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation and reports as required by school and regulatory standards
