Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Previous experience working in school settings highly preferred
- Strong understanding of behavior intervention plans and data collection
- Ability to conduct functional behavior assessments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage caseloads efficiently
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Complete functional behavior assessments (FBAs) for students as needed
- Train school staff on behavior management strategies and best practices
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to inform ongoing interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal planning
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to promote consistent behavioral support across school environments
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
