Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA certification required
  • Previous experience working in school settings highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of behavior intervention plans and data collection
  • Ability to conduct functional behavior assessments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage caseloads efficiently

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Complete functional behavior assessments (FBAs) for students as needed
  • Train school staff on behavior management strategies and best practices
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data to inform ongoing interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal planning
  • Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to promote consistent behavioral support across school environments
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
