Job Description
A school in Chicopee, MA, is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join their team on a contract basis. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with individualized behavior plans in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to implement and monitor behavioral strategies.
- Provide ongoing training and supervision to registered behavior technicians and other team members.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Valid BCBA certification.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis and best practices in behavior intervention.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective behavior plans independently.
