As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) working on contract in the region, youll collaborate with educators, staff, and families to foster positive behavioral outcomes for diverse learners.
Your background in designing and implementing behavioral interventions will shape proactive strategies and meaningful improvements for your caseload. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and advocate for students, with the ability to adapt approaches based on individual needs.
Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- In-depth knowledge of ABA principles and best practices
- Strong collaborative skills for working alongside multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to assess, design, and monitor behavioral intervention plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans
- Train and consult with teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
- Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to inform programming
- Collaborate closely with families to ensure continuity of care
- Generate thorough, timely documentation and progress reports
- Attend IEP meetings as a behavioral expert, providing insight and recommendations
