What we're seeking:
- Active BCBA certification and current licensure
- Prior experience working in a school setting, preferably across multiple schools or grade levels
- Deep knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and their application in educational environments
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and staff
- Ability to travel between schools within the district as needed
- Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and upholding confidential student information
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and implementing behavior intervention plans for students throughout the district
- Providing direct support, training, and consultation to teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
- Conducting functional behavior assessments and analyzing data for informed recommendations
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as necessary
- Facilitating meetings with IEP teams and contributing to student goal development
- Offering guidance on best practices to promote positive learning environments district-wide
