Exciting opportunities are available for board certified behavior analysts (BCBAs) interested in making a positive impact within school environments near Chicago, IL for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position offers the chance to support students and collaborate with educational teams in a flexible setting. As a BCBA, youll partner with school staff to develop behavioral strategies, facilitate behavioral intervention plans, and foster meaningful change for students across grade levels. The specific caseload, number of schools, and locations will be determined prior to assignment, ensuring placement that aligns with both candidate fit and student needs.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Valid professional licensure in the state of Illinois
- Previous experience in a school-based or educational setting is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, students, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in dynamic and evolving school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students
- Provide direct and consultative behavioral support across grade levels (grade assignments TBD)
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
- Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide guidance on behavioral interventions
- Serve as a resource on behavior management and evidence-based practices
