Job Description

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is sought to provide specialized behavioral support within a K-12 school setting. This full-time or part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with students exhibiting behavioral challenges and support the schools special education team in implementing effective intervention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver BCBA guidance and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and the behavioral team within the school setting
  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and evaluations for students with behavior-related concerns
  • Collaborate with diverse student populations to support Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and development
  • Partner with special education staff to ensure consistent behavior intervention and adherence to IEP processes
  • Provide ongoing supervision and training to the districts behavioral staff to ensure high-quality service delivery

Qualifications:

  • Licensed BCBA in Tennessee (TN)
  • Experience working in school environments, particularly K-12 settings, preferred
  • Strong understanding of behavioral assessment tools and intervention methods
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student populations with tailored behavioral strategies

Location & Schedule:

  • Position based onsite in Chattanooga, Tennessee
  • Full-time role with 37.5 hours per week or part-time option at 20 hours per week
  • Contract duration aligns with the school year (NSY)
