Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the educational community by providing essential behavioral support to students ages 222 with severe disabilities and autism. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is designed for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who thrives within a collaborative, school-based setting. Youll engage with teaching staff, students, and support teams, applying your expertise to enhance student outcomes throughout the 26/27 academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Delaware BCBA licensure/certification (confirmation required upon application)
  • Experience in a school-based BCBA role, ideally supporting students with significant needs, including autism
  • Demonstrated skill in de-escalation, crisis intervention, and behavior management
  • Proficiency in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
  • Collaborative approach to working on IEP teams and with school personnel
  • Dedication to onsite support; remote work is not an option

What Youll Do:

  • Support students and staff through crisis de-escalation and participation on the crisis response team
  • Complete FBAs and develop individualized BSPs tailored to student needs
  • Consult on behavior goals for IEPs, contributing expertise to planning and progress reviews
  • Gather and analyze behavioral data; coach school staff in effective support strategies
  • Foster an inclusive, positive school environment through ongoing training, collaboration, and problem-solving
