Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, in good standing
- Proven experience working within educational settings, preferably schools
- Familiarity with conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional problem-solving and data analysis abilities
- Commitment to ethical standards and evidence-based practices
- Experience providing training or consultation to school staff is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess student behavioral needs and utilize data-driven approaches to guide interventions
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans
- Conduct and interpret behavioral assessments
- Collaborate with instructional staff to integrate behavior management strategies into classroom routines
- Train and provide ongoing consultation for teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
- Track student progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to behavioral support in school settings
