Job Description

Step into a vital role supporting young learners in a dynamic and inclusive community dedicated to student development. This full-time contract position focuses on early childhood ASD programs serving preschool and kindergarten students, ages 3 to 6, in both public school settings and select community partners. Youll be part of a district renowned for its commitment to diversity, safety, and holistic student growth.

Position details include a 35-hour workweek, generally running from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM, starting as soon as possible and continuing through June. Your expertise will directly impact elementary-age children, helping to build foundational life skills and ensuring each child is set up for ongoing academic and personal success.

What You'll Need:

  • Current Massachusetts BCBA license required
  • Experience supporting early childhood populations, preferably within school-based or ASD program environments
  • Knowledge of functional behavior assessment and evidence-based intervention strategies
  • Dedication to fostering inclusive and welcoming classroom climates
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work with educators, families, and community partners

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized plans for young children on the autism spectrum
  • Provide direct and consultative behavioral support in preschool and kindergarten classrooms
  • Partner with teachers and paraprofessionals on intervention implementation
  • Engage families and community staff for effective behavior management
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
