Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students with significant behavioral and physical needs in a dynamic educational environment. An experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is needed to provide expertise in a contract role, serving multiple classrooms totaling 35-40 students within a single educational building. This assignment begins September 8, 2026, and extends through June 10, 2027, offering a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.
This setting serves students requiring intensive supports (Setting 4), and youll have the chance to work closely with a dedicated team addressing complex behavioral and academic challenges. Your ability to collaborate, manage caseloads, and thrive in a specialized educational context will directly impact students progress and well-being.
Desired Qualifications & Background:
- Active BCBA certification, with experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Demonstrated skill working with students facing severe behavioral and/or physical disabilities
- Solid understanding of FBAs, data-driven interventions, and writing/maintaining behavior plans
- Experience managing compliance paperwork and leading staff debriefings
- Positive approach and strong communication abilities when partnering with education professionals and families
- Commitment to evidence-based practices that foster positive student outcomes
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and implementing behavior intervention plans
- Supporting multiple classrooms with ongoing evaluation, guidance, and staff training
- Leading debriefings and ensuring all required documentation and paperwork is accurate and timely
- Collaborating with school teams to enhance student independence and engagement
- Ensuring interventions and plans align with individual student needs and district protocols
