Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Experience working in a school or educational setting is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of functional behavior assessment and intervention strategies
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to staff and families
  • Strong problem-solving and adaptability in a school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments for students referred for behavioral support
  • Develop, review, and oversee implementation of individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Train and mentor school staff, educators, and paraprofessionals on behavioral practices
  • Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including families, therapists, and teachers
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students
