Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience working in a school or educational setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of functional behavior assessment and intervention strategies
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to staff and families
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability in a school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments for students referred for behavioral support
- Develop, review, and oversee implementation of individualized behavior intervention plans
- Train and mentor school staff, educators, and paraprofessionals on behavioral practices
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including families, therapists, and teachers
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students
