Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Burbank, IL

2026-2027 School Year

The Role: We are seeking a leadership-minded Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to oversee behavioral programming for students in the Burbank area. In this role, you will be the clinical architect for student success, designing interventions that decrease challenging behaviors and increase functional communication and social skills. You will lead a team of RBTs and paraprofessionals, ensuring that every students Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) is implemented with high fidelity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Oversight: Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop comprehensive, data-driven Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

  • Supervision: Provide ongoing supervision and mentorship to RBTs and behavioral support staff in accordance with BACB standards.

  • IEP Partnership: Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to draft behavioral goals for IEPs and present progress data during meetings.

  • Staff Training: Lead professional development workshops for teachers and staff on de-escalation techniques and classroom management strategies.

  • Progress Monitoring: Analyze behavioral data trends to make real-time clinical adjustments to student programs.

Requirements:

  • Certification: Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.

  • Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for Illinois Licensed Behavior Analyst status.

  • School Experience: Prior experience in a school-based setting or working with the IEP process is highly preferred.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage a caseload and supervise support staff effectively.
