Take your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to an engaging educational environment supporting kindergarten and 1st-grade students in Punxsutawney, PA. This contract, full-time, in-person opportunity allows you to drive positive behavioral change, collaborate with educators, and make an immediate impact on young learners and diverse student populations.
You will partner closely with school staff and special education teams, focusing primarily on early intervention strategies while also providing guidance across all grade levels. Your skills will be vital in developing, implementing, and evaluating tailored behavioral plans to nurture student success and well-being.
What Were Looking For:
- Active BCBA certification in good standing
- Experience in educational, clinical, or similar behavior intervention settings
- Strong ability to assess, design, and implement targeted behavior intervention plans
- Collaborative communicator with teachers, families, and support staff
- Passion for supporting students at various developmental and learning stages
- Adaptability to shift between K-1 caseload and schoolwide support as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collect and analyze data to guide behavioral strategies
- Train and consult with staff on behavioral interventions and best practices
- Provide direct and consultative support to both kindergarten and 1st-grade students
- Perform functional behavior assessments and collaborate on IEP teams
- Document progress, recommendations, and maintain compliance with regulations
