Job Description

This opportunity is for a skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) located in Bridgeport, CT, providing essential behavioral support within a K-12 school district setting through travel. The position offers a full-time schedule of 32.5 hours weekly, spread over five days, working collaboratively with a team of approximately five other BCBAs.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans, providing supervision to 1:1 Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and supporting students across the district. This role requires excellent interpersonal and clinical skills to ensure positive outcomes for a diverse student population.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current CT Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential in Connecticut
  • Experience working within school-based settings or similar environments
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong skills in data collection, behavior plan development, and supervision of RBTs

Location:

  • Bridgeport, Connecticut (travel position covering the school district)

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans tailored to K-12 students
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Supervise and train 1:1 RBTs to ensure fidelity and effectiveness of interventions
  • Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with state and district requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
