This contract opportunity provides a rewarding role for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support K-12 students in a school district located in Bridgeport, CT. The position offers a collaborative environment where the BCBA will join a team of approximately five other certified professionals to develop and implement behavior intervention plans and supervise one-on-one Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee individualized behavior support plans for students across K-12 grade levels
- Collaborate with a team of BCBAs to provide consistent and effective behavioral interventions
- Supervise and guide 1:1 RBTs delivering direct behavioral services
- Monitor and adjust behavior strategies based on student progress and data
- Communicate regularly with school staff and stakeholders to foster positive outcomes
Location:
- Bridgeport, Connecticut, working within the school district setting
Qualifications:
- Current Connecticut BCBA certification and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential required
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational environments
- Ability to work 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Strong teamwork and communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
