Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst to work with a dynamic team supporting elementary-aged students. This full-time contract position offers you the chance to make a real difference by enhancing students lives and contributing positively to their educational experience. Youll be instrumental in assessing, creating, and overseeing behavior intervention plans, providing essential support within a collaborative school environment.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current BCBA certification required
- Prior experience working with elementary student populations, especially those exhibiting challenging behaviors
- Background in developing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Familiarity using data-driven approaches to evaluate and adjust interventions as needed
- Excellent communication skills for working with educators, administrators, and families
- Compassion and patience when interacting with young learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct direct assessments and collaborate with teachers to develop strategic behavior support plans
- Train and supervise staff responsible for plan implementation
- Monitor learner progress, analyze behavioral data, and modify approaches as necessary
- Lead team meetings to review and optimize student goals
- Offer ongoing guidance and support to staff and families, ensuring consistency and best practices throughout the school
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that empowers students to achieve their goals
